Meet the Owner & Founder: Detoria Whitney

Detoria Whitney, the owner and co-founder of KDP Financial Group - a division of KDP Tax Services, brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role. Currently a tax accounting student at Fayetteville State University, Detoria continues to enhance her skills and stay up to date with the latest industry developments. She holds an associate’s degree in Business Administration/Human Resources Management from Fayetteville Technical Community College and is a business formation and payroll specialist.

A high achiever with a GPA average of 3.7, Detoria is also an active member of the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) and the National Technical Honor Society. Her dedication to professional development is further demonstrated by her participation in the IRS Annual Filing Season Program (AFSP), which ensures she stays current on the latest tax regulations and standards, providing her clients with accurate, compliant tax services.
